VERMOX DRUG INFORMATION
Vermox (mebendazole) kills parasites. It is used to treat roundworm, whipworm, pinworm, hookworm, and other worm infections.

Vermox comes as a chewable tablet. The usual dose is twice a day, in the morning and evening, for 3 days. It also comes in a single (one-time) dose.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking Vermox, call your doctor.
VERMOX and BREAST FEEDING
Tell your doctor if you are breast feeding.
If you miss a Vermox does, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the dose that was missed and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not double your dose to make up for a missed one.
VERMOX SIDE EFFECTS
Vermox side effects are not common, but they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms become severe or do not go away:
Keep Vermox its original container, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excessive heat and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Discard any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of Vermox.
In case of a Vermox overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim is not breathing or has collapsed, call the local emergency services at 911.
Keep all your appointments with your doctor and the laboratory. Your doctor will order lab tests to check your response to Vermox (mebendazole).
Do not let anyone else take your Vermox medication.
Your prescription will probably not be refillable. If you continue to have symptoms of infection after you finish the Vermox, call your doctor.
