WHAT IS BENTYL?
Bentyl medication is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Bentyl is in a class of medications called anticholinergics. They relieve muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract. This is accomplished by blocking the activity of a certain natural substance found in the body.

The usual dose is four times a day. Take it around the same time every day.
